Stainless Steel 348H Pipe Fittings have good chemical, mechanical, and physical properties. Chemically, they have chromium (17–20%), nickel (9–13%), and higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than the standard 348, along with niobium to avoid carbide precipitation during welding. Mechanically, they provide a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa with high creep and rupture strength. Physically, they possess a density of 7.96 g/cm³ and are structurally stable up to temperatures of 1100°C and are thus able to withstand high-temperature service.
