Stainless Steel 316H Forged Fittings possess superior chemical, mechanical, and physical properties. They are chemically made up of chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and an increased percentage of carbon (0.04–0.10%) which improves their strength at elevated temperatures. Mechanically, they exhibit a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and yield strength of approximately 310 MPa, with excellent creep and stress rupture resistance. Physically, the fittings possess a density of 8.0 g/cm³ and retain structural integrity up to 870°C and are thus well-suited for pressure and thermal applications.

Stainless Steel 316H Forged Fittings are used extensively in power generation, petrochemical, oil and gas, chemical processing, and heat treatment equipment industries. They find application in parts such as heat exchangers, boilers, superheaters, and pressure vessels working at high temperatures. The high carbon content provides improved mechanical strength, and the addition of molybdenum enhances corrosion resistance in chloride-containing environments. These characteristics make 316H fittings the preferred option for severe applications where long-term performance and resistance to harsh operating conditions are required.
