Stainless Steel 316H Forged Fittings possess tough chemical, mechanical, and physical properties. Chemically, they consist of chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and higher carbon content than 316/316L, which improves high-temperature strength. Mechanically, the fittings have a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a higher yield strength of about 310 MPa with excellent creep and rupture properties. Physically, they possess a density of 8.0 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1,375–1,400°C, thus being adaptable for high-stress and high-temperature use.

Stainless Steel 316H Forged Fittings are utilized in large numbers in power generation, petrochemical, chemical processing, and oil and gas industries, where high-temperature exposure and corrosive conditions are usual. They find perfect application in heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, and superheater tubes because of their higher strength and thermal resistance. The higher carbon content renders them suitable for pressure-bearing and structural usage in high-heat applications. Their corrosion resistance, mechanical stability, and durability make them a reliable option for use in critical industrial processes.
