Stainless Steel 304H forged fittings have been engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure service and provide a balance of exceptional chemical, mechanical, and physical properties. Chemically, SS 304H has 18–20% chromium and 8–10.5% nickel, with an increased content of carbon (0.04–0.10%) over conventional 304, which enhances its high-temperature strength. Mechanically, 304H fittings have high tensile strength, resistance to creep, and outstanding oxidation resistance even at 800°C. Physically, they possess a density of around 8.0 g/cm³ and exhibit great structural integrity under thermal and mechanical stress, rendering them suitable for application in power plants, refineries, and other industrial uses.
