Stainless Steel 310H forged fittings have superior chemical, mechanical, and physical characteristics, which qualify them for use in corrosive and high-temperature conditions. Chemically, 310H is a high-carbon variant of SS 310, which has high concentrations of chromium and nickel, which are very resistant to sulfidation, oxidation, and other types of corrosion at high temperatures. Mechanically, it provides good tensile strength (approximately 515 MPa) and good creep resistance and is best suited for applications where it has to bear pressure. Physically, 310H is structurally sound in thermal stress conditions and has good thermal conductivity and longevity when exposed to changing temperatures.

Stainless Steel 310H forged fittings find extensive application in high-pressure and high-temperature applications because of their superior strength, oxidation resistance, and longevity. They are typically used in furnace parts, heat exchangers, kilns, and thermal processing equipment.
