Hastelloy C276 Buttweld Fittings contain mostly nickel (57% min), molybdenum, chromium, iron, and minimal amounts of cobalt and tungsten. This special chemical composition gives them excellent resistance against harsh oxidizers, reducing agents, and severely corrosive environments such as acids and chlorides. Mechanically, the fittings are also excellent in tensile strength, ductility, and resistance to fatigue. Physically, Hastelloy C276 has better thermal stability, high hardness, and excellent weldability so that it can sustain its structure as well as performance in extreme temperatures and pressures.
